Ohio Citizen Advocates for Addiction Recovery will host its first annual Recover Out Loud Luncheon and Peer Leadership Training on April 13 at The Blackwell Inn, 2110 Tuttle Park Place, Columbus. This event will be a convening of recovery advocates from throughout Ohio. Thomas K. Gregoire, Ph.D., Dean of the OSU College of Social Work and person in long-term recovery, will provide luncheon keynote remarks. Former OCAAR CEO and person in recovery Sara J. Thompson will be recognized as the first Recover Out Loud honoree. In conjunction with the luncheon, OCAAR will also host a peer leadership training with The Communities Project. Registrants can choose to attend the peer leadership training, the luncheon, or both for free. Those who attend the full peer leadership training will be eligible for 7 CEUs. Questions?
