Clinical Supervisor-Foster Care Cincy/Dayton

Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday (may vary)
Reports To: Program Manager
Direct Reports: Clinical Therapists

Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
 Assists in the recruitment of staff and foster parents for a foster care and outpatient program while TVN expands into the Cincinnati and Dayton area.
 Provides Supervision to Assistant Coordinators and assure compliance in Service Standards and other mental health documentation. (30% Importance/ Rating 30%time)
 Reviews and approves Individual Service Plans and Individual Service Plan updates. (10% Importance Rating/10% of Time Spent).
 Provides individual, family, and group therapy, as well as crisis counseling, to clients on his/her caseload according to each client’s needs/abilities. This includes assessing a client’s therapeutic needs/strengths and establishing a therapeutic relationship while utilizing interventions that will enhance his overall functioning. (20% Importance Rating/20% of Time Spent)
 Provide support and oversight to foster homes to assure ODJFS compliant. (20% Importance and 20% Time Spent)
 Facilitates case management by designing, writing, and coordinating individual treatment plans for each client. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reading/analyzing materials and reports from outside organizations, discussing with staff the progress of the client, revision of plans in order to ensure the best possible care, directing workers on how treatment plans should be implemented, monitoring compliance with the plans, attend school IEP meetings, conduct weekly team meetings, and attending group meetings to discuss treatment. Interviews, evaluates, and participates in the decision process regarding new candidates to The Village Network. (20% Importance Rating/20% of Time Spent)
 Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 Ability to use a computer; familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
 Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field; LISW or LPCC licensure with supervisory designation required.
 Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance. Travel required for home visits.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and organizational skills; crisis management skills required.
