Overview of Program: The Ranch of Opportunity, located in Fayette County, extends Eastway’s continuum of services to meet the complex needs of children and adolescents who require a full spectrum of behavioral health services. The Ranch offers a peaceful and spacious environment, away from the pressure of an urban setting and the negative influence of peers. It will provide a healthy setting for adolescents to live, learn and develop. The location is convenient to families and referral sources in Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton, which expands our range of service as well as promotes the meaningful involvement of significant other’s in treatment.


Job Skills/Requirements: The Ranch of Opportunity works with girls ages 13-18 that have experienced a high prevalence of traumatic events. The responsibility of the Clinical Supervisor is to supervise residential therapists and ensure that they are meeting the needs of the clients in the residential treatment center. The Clinical Supervisor will also facilitate groups and perform individual and family therapy. This position requires a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).


Other: Caring and empathetic person who understands the high prevalence of traumatic experiences in persons who receive behavioral health services.- Knowledge of adolescents who have experienced complex traumas, mental health and substance abuse issues.- Two to four years’ experience in providing therapeutic interventions with adolescents who have mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral problems, preferably within a residential treatment program or using an interdisciplinary team model.- Demonstrated knowledge of principles of brief, solution-focused therapy, interventions with youth with behavior disorders, and of principles of typical and atypical adolescent development.- Preferred experience using Trauma Focused CBT (TFCBT).- Demonstrated knowledge of ODMH, ODADAS, and CARF certification standards.- Demonstrated \knowledge of Windows-based computer applications.- Effective planning, organizational, communication, documentation, and time management skills.



•Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.

•Preferred – Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
