Patient Financial Navigator
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday – 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
CompDrug has an immediate opportunity for a conscientious Patient Financial Navigator.
Verify patient insurance on a daily basis.
Meet with patients who have lost insurance coverage to discuss insurance options.
Enroll patients in Franklin County ADAMH board database (SHARES) and verify coverage.
Maintains accuracy of SHARES database.
Verify correct insurance on patient profile in EHR.
Meets with self-pay patients to discuss payment options and complete self-pay financial agreement if necessary.
Refer patients to case manager as needed.
Provides excellent customer service in a trauma informed, person centered manner.
Treats patients and co-workers with courtesy, respect and discretion.
Maintains high level of confidentiality while interacting with patients with empathy and respect.
Establishes and maintains strong professional boundaries.
Regular and timely attendance.
At least two years experience in a health care setting
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid computer skills, familiarity with electronic health record required
The ability to work effectively with individuals and coworkers in fast paced sometimes stressful situations
Bring a trauma informed care, person centered approach to the position
