Choices for Victims of Domestic Violence (LSSCO)

CHOICES is seeking a Legal Advocate to be responsible for crisis intervention and stabilization; assessment; and referral and linkage for domestic violence prosecuting witnesses utilizing the city prosecutor’s Office, Domestic Violence and Stalking Unit (DVU).  The Legal advocate is to maintain professional standards in his/her conduct; to stimulate cooperative and coordinated services delivery; to provide a communication link between CHOICES, the Columbus City Prosecutor’s Office, Domestic Violence and Stalking Unit and other agencies on-site as necessary; and to provide information and recommendations to the Clinical Supervisor for the quality of services provided.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and experience with crisis intervention, legal and individual or family counseling experience.  LSS is an EOE/M/D/V/F
