MARYHAVEN IN DELAWARE

COUNSELOR III- Facilitate chemical dependency groups. Develops, assigns and monitors individualized treatment and continuing care plans in cooperation with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Provides chemical dependency counseling (individual, family, group), crisis intervention and chemical dependency education. Provides case management to ensure problems identified in assessment are resolved or appropriate services accessed. Assists in maintaining the therapeutic environment of the unit by regularly interacting with clients and by maintaining discipline.

REQUIREMENTS– Must have LSW, LPC or LCDC III

COUNSELOR ASSISTANT – Assists certified counselors in the provision of chemical dependency counseling by following comprehensive care management plan as created by primary clinician. Provides chemical dependency group counseling, crisis intervention, and chemical dependency education to youth and families. Provides case management services to ensure problems identified in the assessment are resolved or appropriately addressed.  Provides transportation of clients to facilities access to services as identified in the Care Management Plan. Observes urinalysis collection and completes the required paperwork

REQUIREMENTS– Must have a CDCA

COUNSELOR IV- Develop a comprehensive care management plan based on completion and / or review of chemical dependency, behavioral health/ mental health/ psychological, biopsychosocial, and related assessments as they relate to a client’s current functioning. . Provides counseling services and monitors individualized treatment plans/ continuing care plans in cooperation with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Provide diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders (with supervision if required). Perform program development activities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS– LISW or PCC

COUNSELOR II- Develop a comprehensive clinical formulation based on completion and/or review of chemical dependency, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments and client’s current functioning. Provides chemical dependency counseling (individual, family, group), crisis intervention, and chemical dependency education.

REQUIREMENTS– Must have LPC , LSW or LCDC II
