GRANT ACCOUNTANT-The Grant Accountant works closely with Agency leadership and Program Managers to understand the Agency/Program’s operations and is responsible for all budgeting, accounting and financial reporting related to revenues from all funding sources. Job duties include accounting for all revenues and related accounts receivable, preparation of non fee-for-service monthly billings, preparation of monthly journal entries and G/L account reconciliations. All accounting functions and reporting will be conducted in accordance with GAAP.

REQUIREMENTS-  Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration plus four years experience in an automated accounting environment.   Proficient with use of databases, Excel and various financial software packages.

COUNSELOR III ADOLESCENT-Responsible for developing a comprehensive clinical formulation based on completion and/or review of chemical dependency, mental health, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments and client’s current functioning. Develops, assigns, and monitors individualized treatment and continuing care plans. Responsible for providing chemical dependency and mental health counseling, including but not limited to individual, family, and group counseling. Will also provide crisis intervention, chemical dependency and mental health education, and case management for caseload. Person must provide timely and accurate clinical documentation procedures and must complete day-to-day service documentation.

COUNSELOR III OPIATE TREATMENT- Develops a comprehensive clinical formulation in a methadone program based on completion and/or review of chemical dependency, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments and client’s current functioning. Provides chemical dependency counseling (individual, family, group), crisis intervention, and chemical dependency education. Provides diagnosis, treatment or referral of methadone emotional disorders.

LEAD PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT – Assists Unit Coordinator with providing orientation of unit procedures, crisis management, documentation and AOD/MH education for new Patient care assistants.  Serves as replacement and/or float patient care assistants as needed.  Assist Unit Coordinator with unit orientation guidelines and procedures for new hires.  Upon completion of unit orientation, assists with the day-to-day orientation of new patient care assistants during their 180 day probation period. Assists Unit Coordinator with gathering, maintaining, and updating all required documentation and reports. Reports client behavior, activities, and emotional status to clinical staff through verbal and written report through the Shift Reports and/or Incident Reports. Responsible for updating program census, visitation, community service, dietary and meal census, and all other reports as assigned, responsible for ensuring chart order, chart closure, and contract compliance.

REQUIREMENTS– High School Diploma or equivalent.

RN- Performs nursing assessments and treatment of all patients. Completes and documents the biopsychosocial needs of the patients and develops, completes, and implements nursing treatment plans. Monitors and documents the health status of patients. Administers medications and medical treatments; medications not to be kept on site. Coordinates medical and support services. Assists in medical education, parenting skills training, and ongoing chemical dependency treatment.

REQUIREMENTS: Registered Nurse by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Administrative SupervisorLocated at the Engagement Center, 1775 Alum Creek Drive.  The candidate will be responsible for supervision on second shift, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, to insure appropriate individualized resident care.  Will also respond directly to and supervise crisis intervention; building evacuation and other non-routine events. Will monitor and evaluate quality assurance tasks and reports. Candidate must reports problems/concerns regarding the unit to the Clinical Supervisor for discussion, evaluation and resolution, will be on-call 24 hours.  Must also follow operating procedure to ensure compliance with shelter standards and develop, implement and upgrade unit operational policies and procedures to insure unit functioning and quality customer services.  Responsible for insuring quality content, completeness, confidentiality and security of records.

REQUIREMENTS: – Bachelor degree preferred, Associate degree required in Human Services or Behavioral Science with two years experience in the field of chemical dependency. An individual with two or more years experience working with homeless persons in emergency shelter, on the land or permanent supportive housing is desirable. Knowledge of homeless resources in the community is plus. First Aid, CPR  required. Must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

COUNSELOR ASSISTANT (IDDT, ADULT IP/OP, ADOLESCENT)– Assists certified counselors in the provision of chemical dependency counseling by following comprehensive care management plan as created by primary clinician. Provides chemical dependency group counseling, crisis intervention, and chemical dependency education to youth and families. Provides case management services to ensure problems identified in the assessment are resolved or appropriately addressed.  Provides transportation of clients to facilities access to services as identified in the Care Management Plan. Observes urinalysis collection and completes the required paperwork

ADMISSION SPECIALIST-GAMBLING INTERVENTION (PART TIME) Receive incoming calls daily from clients and referral sources requesting service and input client information into computer on-line, in real time. Must also gather screening information from the client, or from other sources regarding the client, to determine the initial program based on services needed.  Candidate will enter screening information into computer; carry out community information duties regarding Maryhaven’s admissions procedures as assigned by supervisor.  Must also participates in collection of data regarding phone calls, screenings, and referrals for purposes of quality improvement, program evaluation, and other reporting requirements

REQUIREMENTS:  Associate’s degree or higher in a behavioral science with at least 2 years of experience in social services or equivalent education and experience.

PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT (PART / FULL TIME) Responsible for client safety and security in a program serving clients in a group home setting for persons with mental illness. Duties include observing and monitoring client behavior and emotional status.

REQUIREMENTS– Must have a GED or equivalent, a valid Ohio Drivers license, reliable transportation and evidence of appropriate automobile liability insurance.

NUTRITIONAL SERVICE TECHSplit Schedule 6am-1pm and 10am-6pm including  some weekends. Assist with Tray Line service, Food Preparation, and Maintaining  a clean, safe work and dining environment.

REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. One to 6 months experience in general cleaning procedures, or equivalent. One year experience in food service and therapeutic diets. Cooking skills preferred.
