The Workplace Health department of MHAOhio aims to retain Behavioral Health staff by supporting employers in creating more rewarding and mentally healthy work environments. Primarily, this is done through the provision of Occumetrics, our data-driven organizational health assessment designed to help leadership measure and improve employee wellbeing, turnover intention, and satisfaction.
Schedule
Work hours are generally 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, flexible based upon work demands and in consultation with supervisor; full-time exempt position. Work setting can be hybrid to include time in office and remote or can be fully in office.
Supervision
Reports to Director of Workplace Health
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Occumetrics grants from various funders
- Manage recruitment, orientation, progress, problem solving, closure interview, and communications with assigned organizations
- Conduct 16-18 Occumetrics assessments over the course of 12 months, including:
- Data gathering (survey, focus groups, leadership interview)
- Qualitative data analysis using NVivo software
- Some quantitative analysis, in conjunction with the team’s Operations Manager
- Final report and recommendations
- Presentation of findings to staff and short-term implementation support
- Write and submit final grant report to Ohio Department of Behavioral Health
- In conjunction with the Workplace Health Director:
- Assist with other Occumetrics assessments
- Assist with continuous quality improvements of the assessment process; ensure that best practices are built into the process as well as within the common assessment recommendations
- Assist with program funding submissions, budget preparation, and strategic planning
- Conduct public presentations about the program, as needed
- Participate in any other initiatives to address workforce issues as requested
Other duties, within reason and scope of the position’s primary duties, may be assigned after consultation between employee and supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human resources, business, public health or administration, or a related field
- At least seven years’ experience resulting in the abilities to
- Provide attuned, skillful communication both verbally and in writing, often about topics that require high levels of emotional intelligence and the inclusion of multiple sources of information
- Skillfully facilitate structured, timed group conversations
- Gather, analyze, and explain quantitative and qualitative data
- Work well independently as well as in collaboration with teammates to provide high quality deliverables
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects in various stages
- Tolerate regularly shifting client needs and timelines
- Demonstrate outstanding decision-making skills, judgment, and attention to detail
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred qualification: a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human resources, business, public health or administration, or a related field
Salary: $54,000-$62,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
