Recovery Court and Criminal Justice Program Administrator

The City of Reynoldsburg is seeking a candidate to fill this full-time, unclassified position. Under the administrative direction of the Mayor and the appointed Magistrate of Mayor’s Court performs duties associated with the supervisor of adult offenders convicted and/or arrested for misdemeanor offenses and provides case management services; performs duties related to Reynoldsburg’s adult and juvenile diversion programs, and performs duties related to community mediation and Recovery Court program. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Criminology, Social Work, or a related field; and two (2) to four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience; or any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position, up to an including practical experience in drug and alcohol-related counseling and/or supervision. Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and the ability to maintain insurability under the City’s vehicle insurance policy. Complete Ohio Probation Officer Training Program within one (1) year of hire unless already completed. At least eight (8) hours of unarmed self-defense training upon or soon after hire. LEADS/NCIC certification preferred or to be obtained within probationary period. Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to be trained in and perform unarmed self-defense movements/actions. Ability to occasionally lift and move objects weighing 30 lbs.
