Volunteer & Donations Manager
YWCA Columbus is seeking a Volunteer & Donations Manager to be responsible for building the capacity of YWCA Columbus through recruiting and supporting community volunteers and donors, and enhancing their experience. This individual will be responsible for working closely with YWCA Columbus leadership team and program managers to identify volunteer and donation needs that support all YWCA Columbus programming.
In this role, the ideal candidate will act as primary liaison to congregations, businesses, community groups and individuals as they support the YWCA Columbus; act as spokesperson for educating the community about YWCA Columbus; implement effective volunteer management practices; and act as a key member of Development and Engagement Team, helping with individual donors and in-kind supporters as needed.
We are looking for someone who models professionalism and problem-solving skills for volunteers, donors, staff, residents, families, and the community at large. This individual must be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Two years paid experience working with volunteers in a social service setting required; Strong customer service background; Experience with volunteer management strongly preferred. Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
