The P.E.E.R. Center has been operational since 2010. Our mission is to provide a safe place where individuals receive respect, encouragement and hope that supports and strengthens their recovery with mental illness, addictions, and/or trauma. The agency, staffed by individuals in long term recovery, provides daily drop-in peer support at two locations, and a daily WarmLine for phone peer support.
The P.E.E.R. Center is open daily, 9 am-4 pm, at our East location (Whitehall) or West location (Franklinton). Services are open to adults, age 18 and up, on a drop-in basis, and include a variety of peer support groups focused on hope, healing, and recovery in a warm, community environment. Offerings also include one on one peer support, referral and service linkage, recreational activities, a media center and computer lab, community meals and occasional outings.
Phone peer support is available via our WarmLine at 614.258.8255 (TALK), daily from 5 pm-3 am.
