ADAMH Presents 2015 Needs Assessment Report at September Board Meeting
The Preparing for the Future: Policy Landscape and Needs Assessment for Mental Health and Addiction Services in Franklin County report, completed by the Health Policy Institute of Ohio and the Community Research Partners helps ADAMH quantify the unmet behavioral health needs in our community. The HPIO & CRP team conducted five exploratory interviews, four focus groups with consumers, immigrant populations and providers, and 8 expert interviews.
The focus of the needs assessment was to produce policy-relevant and action-driven information to project the need for publicly-funded mental health and addiction treatment, support and prevention services. This will guide us in our future investments to address the unmet needs in Franklin County during the next 5-7 years.
