Question, Persuade Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training
Date: Thursday, September 29, 2022
Time: Noon - 2 p.m.
Location: Columbus Metropolitan Library (96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215)
Instructor: Dr. Ameena Kemavor

Faith leaders and professionals are in unique position to connect with people in our community, sometimes when they are at their most vulnerable. However, fear of saying the wrong thing can prevent even those trained to help others from talking about suicide. This QPR Training will help participants learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, persuade someone to seek help and refer someone to the most appropriate resources.
