Melissa Klosterman-Lando was appointed to the ADAMH Board by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Her appointment runs through June 30, 2027. Melissa serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources for Hilliard City School District, bringing expertise in educational leadership and community advocacy. Specializing in student and staff well-being and mental health, Melissa has completed advanced training in trauma-informed education and targeted interventions to support students and staff in PreK-12 districts facing mental health and addiction challenges. Her comprehensive career in public education spans classroom and administrative leadership roles across the Hilliard, Bexley, Dublin and Springfield city school districts. She previously served as a general education teacher, intervention specialist, assistant principal, student services and special education coordinator, principal and director of employee relations. Melissa is highly accomplished in human capital strategy, data analysis to foster student growth, staff development and equitable and restorative practices. Melissa holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Ashland University, The Ohio State University, Antioch University and the University of Dayton.
