Bob Bitzenhofer was appointed to the ADAMH Board by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners. His appointment runs through June 30, 2028. As vice president of planning & development for the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), Bitzenhofer manages the authority’s strategy to acquire or develop at least 500 units of mixed-income housing per year. Since he came to CMHA in 2015, the agency has grown its portfolio from 1,900 to over 5,300 units. Bitzenhofer has more than 14 years of experience with affordable housing, community development and federal policy. A member of Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 class of 2020, he serves as chair of the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio and is a member of the board of Columbus Housing Enterprise and the Ohio Housing Council. He holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning and master’s degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati, and a law degree from Ohio State University.
