Your Job Opportunity

Therapists provide individual, family and group counseling services consistent with professional standards, best practices and Concords policies.

•Apply unique expertise and professional judgment in the application of Concord’s multidisciplinary approach to client treatment and peer supervision.
•Assess clients and develop therapeutic treatment plans to address problems such as substance abuse, psychological or emotional problems or dysfunctional families.
•Participate in community education activities as assigned.

Qualifications Needed for Success for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

•Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; experience providing therapy/counseling preferred.
• Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries,
illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system.
•Must have working knowledge of mental illness, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population.
•Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
