Recovery Choices Outpatient Behavioral Health Treatment (614.252.8834) – Provides behavioral health treatment services, including medication assisted treatment, according to the individual, assessed needs of adult men and women. We have more than 50 years’ experience working with individuals who have become involved in the justice system.

Amethyst, an Alvis Recovery Program (614.242.1284) – A longer term (12-18 months), trauma-informed, holistic treatment program designed to meet women’s behavioral healthcare needs. Children up to age 18 can live with their mothers while the mother is in treatment. Includes family services, including parenting classes, after school and school break programs, prevention, family reunification, etc.

Who We Are

Alvis provides reentry, behavioral health treatment (inclusive of medication assisted treatment), workforce development, recovery housing, peer support and life skills education (e.g., parenting, finances, etc.) for adult men and women. Onsite psychiatric services are available in all Alvis programs. Alvis’ Recovery Choices program provides intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment for adult men and women. Amethyst, an Alvis recovery program, is a holistic treatment program for women seeking to recover substance use and mental health disorders, as well as trauma. While in the Amethyst program, recovery housing for single women and women with children up to age 18 is available. Alvis provides prevention and educational support to children (up to age 18) of women in the Amethyst program. Alvis also serves individuals with developmental disabilities.
