The Buckeye Ranch is currently seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our Community Based program! The Outpatient Therapist empowers youth and their families to overcome dynamics contributing to emotional impairment and may put the youth at risk for being removed from their homes.

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt (Mon-Fri, some evening work required)

Location: Whitehall, Ohio

What you’ll do:

Develop, revise and implement treatment plans based on diagnosis of individual client or family circumstances.
Complete program specific assessments.
Intervene on behalf of clients taking into account their physical, mental, emotional health and substance use history.
Participate as an actively contributing member of treatment teams, departmental committees, large group supervision, and other Ranch and external working groups as assigned or appropriate.
Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
Schedule and conduct therapeutic counseling sessions with individuals, families and treatment teams based on cases assigned and at the established acuity for each family.
Advocate for clients and their Families based on their developmental needs.
Who you are:

You have a Master’s degree in Social Work, or related field
You have an active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT licensure
You preferably have previous work experience as a Counselor, Social Worker, Therapist, or Clinician
