D Malone joined the ADAMH team in June 2021. In her current role as Vice President, Advocacy and Engagement, D is responsible for actively engaging key stakeholders, elevating ADAMH’s thought leadership role and leading ADAMH's efforts in the areas of legislative awareness, advocacy and intentional engagement to our diverse community.
Her career spans over 25 years including serving in senior leadership in the Offices of the Governor and Treasurer for the State of Ohio; and Office of the Mayor for the City of Columbus. Prior to joining ADAMH, she was the Community Liaison for the CelebrateOne initiative to reduce infant mortality in central Ohio. She also served as Director of Career Development for Dress for Success Columbus and Membership Services Director for First Church of God Columbus.
D is a passionate community leader and seeks to always be mindful of those she represents at every table she is invited to. She serves as a commissioner on the board for Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority and has served on multiple boards and local and national community organizations leading faith-based efforts, advocating for equity, health, safety and security of Columbus and Franklin County residents.
D holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in organizational leadership from Mid-America Christian University and is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant.
When asked, D is quick to share that her greatest accomplishment is the gift of motherhood to her now adult daughter, Emaí Daniel.
