Dr. Delaney Smith, System Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Delaney Smith first joined the ADAMH Board of Franklin County in August 2013. She brings an extensive background in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders. She has also held several leadership positions in the field of behavioral health.
She is also an auxiliary assistant professor of psychiatry at the Ohio State University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Department of Specialty.
She is published in various publications including: Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences; The Encyclopedia of Immigrant Health and The Journal of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2002. In 1998, she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston University. She has completed fellowships in forensic and community psychiatry.
