John Neil Lindsey, J.D. was appointed to the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board by the Franklin County Commissioners. His appointment runs through December 1, 2024. A native of Columbus, Mr. Lindsey attended Kenyon College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics. Mr. Lindsey held director positions at Ohio Dominican and Capital Universities where his fundraising efforts provided critical operating budget relief for the institutions. Mr. Lindsey earned his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School with Order of the Curia honors. Mr. Lindsey earned admission to the Ohio Bar in 2007 and the United States District Court in 2014. Mr. Lindsey is a sole law practitioner with 13 years of legal experience serving clients throughout Franklin, Fairfield, Licking and Delaware counties. Additionally, Mr. Lindsey serves as legal counsel for local churches in Columbus. Mr. Lindsey is a former Board Chair for the Child Development Council of Franklin County and Vice–Chair for the Godman Guild Association. He was also a board member for Voices for Ohio’s Children where he served as Chair of the development committee. Mr. Lindsey is a member of The Home Church International, Inc.
