The Central Ohio Are Agency on Aging is hosting this free, in-person continuing education workshop. Vicarious trauma is an occupational challenge for people working and volunteering in the fields of social work, victim services, law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire services and other allied professions, due to their continuous exposure to victims of trauma and violence. This program will address what vicarious trauma is, how to recognize it and strategies for addressing concerns around vicarious trauma in your work.
