In the spirit of strengthening our community, members of the faith community are invited to join us along with a diverse group of leaders and professionals, representing all faiths and a variety of lived experiences, to further grow and learn together. Our hope is to convene passionate individuals with a desire to receive training, tools and resources to better support themselves, their families and their communities of faith to participate in the Health, Help, Healing and Hope: Bridging Our Temples faith series.
Holiday-Focused 988 Messaging Toolkit
As we enter the holiday season—a time of celebration, reflection and togetherness—it can also bring feelings of loneliness, stress or grief for many individuals. Faith communities play an essential role in offering comfort, support and connection during this time.
To support these efforts, ADAMH has developed a holiday-focused 988 messaging toolkit. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a free, confidential, 24/7 resource available by call, text or chat for anyone experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns or thoughts of suicide.
The toolkit includes:
-
Four holiday-themed graphics and messages
-
Multiple sizes and formats suitable for bulletins, screens, newsletters and social media
-
A background document with key information about the 988 Lifeline
