For more than 40 years, CompDrug has offered comprehensive services in prevention, intervention and treatment to those seeking help for their addictions and mental health issues. CompDrug specializes in the treatment of opioid use disorder and as an opioid treatment program offers medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications. CompDrug’s more than 100 full-time employees provide drug testing, outpatient counseling for men and women and numerous prevention programs for youths and adults. Programs include: individual and group counseling, and intensive outpatient treatment (IOT) and others. Prevention Services include: Youth to Youth International, Pregnant Moms, Senior Sense, and HIV Early Intervention. Those services combined reach thousands of people every day and are instrumental in saving lives, preventing problems, and proving that treatment works. CompDrug has met the standard for high quality treatment and prevention services, winning several awards and gaining National Accreditation for its Opioid Treatment Program through CARF (Commission for Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities), beginning in 2002. Today, all of CompDrug’s programs have achieved the highest level of accreditation awarded by CARF.
Job Description
Essential Functions:
Primary focus of maximizing patient experience.
Responsible for day-to-day operations and activities at the assigned site.
Serves as first point of contact at the site, facilitates problem solving and maintains communication across departments.
Operational site responsibility includes policy implementation and recommendation for updates and/or changes, meeting privacy and regulatory requirements, meeting facility budget, and reviewing staffing.
Oversees the facility’s daily operations through coordination with department managers and organization leadership team; works closely with clinical and medical staff.
Accepts patient feedback and administers administrative action.
Directly oversees the admissions manager, care coordinators and contract security officers.
Represents organization with accrediting and compliance organizations.
Works closely with the compliance analyst to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations of CompDrug’s accrediting and compliance organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular and timely attendance.
Assist with the NPI process and establishment and maintenance of CAQH profile, if requested.
Assist with the credentialing process, if requested.
Participates in the annual BCI and FBI background check processes.
Maintain required professional licensure/credentials.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years’ experience in a related field; master’s degree in any field.
Previous experience in a healthcare organization.
Previous experience managing staff required.
Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization and patients.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and planning skills.
The ability to establish and maintain a person-centered and forward-thinking environment.
