Licensed Practical Nurse
CompDrug has an immediate opening for a conscientious Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
Responsible for dispensing scheduled medications as per physicians request
Respond to patient concerns and questions
Maintain accurate documentation and notes
Provide emotional support to patients
Conduct assessments & treatment referrals for patients
Interact with on-site physicians, nurses and counselors
Sustain positive employee relations
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task while performing the duties of the Nursing Department
Demonstrate high ethical standards
Candidates must possess current LPN licensure
Psychiatric and medicated assisted treatment experience preferred
This is a full time position, typically scheduled for at least 36 hours per week, comprised of Monday – Friday 5:45 am – 2 pm and a brief Saturday morning shift (5:45 am – 9:15 am) once a month.
For more than 40 years, CompDrug has offered comprehensive services in prevention, intervention and treatment to those seeking help for their addictions and mental health issues. It is now the largest opioid treatment program in Ohio, offering medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications. CompDrug’s employees provide drug testing, outpatient counseling for men and women and numerous prevention programs for youths and adults. Programs include: Anger Management services, and others. Prevention Services include: Youth to Youth International, Pregnant Moms, Senior Sense, and HIV Early Intervention. Today, all of CompDrug’s programs have achieved the highest level of accreditation awarded by CARF.
