Peer Recovery Supporter 
Work Arrangements 
Part Time, less than 20 hours per week

Schedule will fall within the hours of Monday – Friday 5:45 am – 1:30 pm 
 
Summary 
The Peer Recovery Supporter is an active member of the treatment team, providing support to our patients from the perspective of an individual with a lived experience in recovery and as a patient of CompDrug.  The successful candidates will work closely with patients who are beginning treatment with CompDrug.  They will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals on medication-assisted treatment, to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Recovery Supporter must demonstrate an ability to develop & sustain authentic peer-to-peer relationships. 

Essential Functions 
Assist new patients in navigating their care with CompDrug 
Provide support and motivation to new patients in moving through treatment requirements and protocols 
Share lived experience as a patient of CompDrug (when appropriate) 
Serve as an advocate for patients  
Ensure patients are apprised of and connected with all of CompDrug’s services 
Serve as role model, exhibits healthy coping and problem solving skills 
Document patient encounters 
Model appropriate boundaries as both patient and staff  
Regular and timely attendance 
Other duties as assigned 
 
Requirements 
Experience as a patient of CompDrug’s Medication Assisted Treatment and Counseling services 
Certified Peer Recovery Supporter
