Concord Counseling Services is seeking an experienced HR Generalist who understands general HR principles, to work with the HR team on various day to day human resources activities. This is a fulltime, 40 hours per week position that reports to the HR Director and partners with the HR Recruiter. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the Onboarding process, Benefit Open Enrollments, the Performance Management system, and Employment Law Compliance, in additional to other general HR tasks. The HR Generalist will manage the operational and administrative functions associated with this HR functions. The HR Generalist will be responsible for effectively administering Concord policies and procedures.
The HR Generalist must display a positive, approachable, professional demeanor with management, staff, and external parties. The Generalist needs to be a team player that shows cultural humility with everyone they encounter. The HR Generalist must have the ability to handle sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality The HR Generalist must be able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. This position has an anticipated start date in July 2024.

HR Generalist qualifications include the following:
•A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 3 – 5 years direct HR experience.
•Must have experience with employee relations, strong problem-solving skills, and experience coaching/consulting management on various HR topics.
•Must demonstrate the ability to multitask, remain organized, and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
•Must be self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision.
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation and customer service skills.
•Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs, must have the ability to learn electronic payroll systems, and the ability to operate other basic computer systems.
•Available to work Monday – Friday and can travel around the Columbus metropolitan area.
